Temporary install: open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, choose Load Temporary Add-on, and pick the XPI. For permanent install, use a Mozilla-signed build from a release when available.

Updates

Packed installs can auto-check /build/updates.xml (Chrome) and /build/updates.json (Firefox). In the extension, open Settings to point at a fork or self-hosted site and use Check for updates.

After install

  1. Open the extension popup and click Connect bridge tab.
  2. Keep the bridge tab open while translating, speaking, or recording.
  3. Allow microphone access on the bridge tab for dictationasm.
